Meet our faculty...

Rachel Huntington

Rachel Huntington grew up dancing in Northern California in Roseville. She trained under Theodore Constant and participated in annual performances of The Nutcracker and various spring productions with Placer Theatre Ballet. Some of her favorite roles include The White Cat in Sleeping Beauty, A Lady in Waiting in Coppélia, and Clara’s Friend in The Nutcracker. Rachel attended her first two years of college at Dean College in Franklin, MA where she earned her AA in Dance, as well as being awarded the Trustees’ Award for the school of dance. Upon graduating from Dean, she transferred to Utah Valley University in Orem, UT on a ballet performance scholarship. At UVU, Rachel was cast in Repertory Ballet Ensemble where she performed classical variations, learned original choreography from renowned artists, and collaborated with local modern dance companies. Rachel graduated from UVU in the Spring of 2020 with a BFA in Ballet. She moved to Orange County in early 2021 and is excited to join the team at ODA. Rachel truly has a passion for ballet and hopes to instill that passion to each and every student she works with.
