Studio Policies

Tuition Policies:

  • Tuition must be paid in full by the 7th of the month.

  • A $15 late fee will be applied to tuition paid after the 7th.

  • Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Families with multiple dancers will receive a 10% discount on monthly tuition.

  • There is no discount for notated studio closures, nor is there an additional charge for a 5th class in a month.

  • Class drop requests must be requested prior to the 1st of the month via email in order to avoid charges for future months.


Class Placement:

Students wishing to enter a level other than beginning must obtain instructor signature(s).  Placement cards are available at the front desk.

Make-up Classes:

Missed classes are non-refundable, but students may make up their absences in age and level-appropriate classes within the current dance season, as long as monthly tuition payments are continued. Makeups are forfeited when dropping enrollment and at the end of each season.

Dress Code:

Ballet:  Any color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes.  Hair must be in a bun.  Acceptable warm-ups include black or light pink ballet wrap sweaters and solid-colored leg warmers. Advanced levels (3+) are allowed solid-colored chiffon ballet skirts. 

Jazz/Lyrical/Tap:  Leotard or fitted shirt with leggings or dance shorts. Half soles or jazz shoes are acceptable for jazz and lyrical, tap dancers must have tap shoes. Hair must be pulled away from the face in a bun or ponytail.

Acro: Leotard or fitted shirt with leggings or dance shorts. Bare feet are acceptable, hair must be in ponytail, bun, or braids.

Hip-Hop:/Industry  Comfortable clothing, t-shirts, leggings, shorts, or sweats, and non-marking sneakers. Please be sure that sneakers are not sandy as they can damage our flooring. Please bring both jazz shoes/half soles AND tennis shoes to Industry classes.

Creative Movement & Ballet/Tap Combo:  Black or pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes (for Ballet/Tap only). Hair must be pulled away from the face and neck.
