Frankie Peji

SUBSTITUTE FACULTY & FRONT DESK TEAM

Frankie Peji (she/her) is a Filipino-American artist originally from Santa Clarita, CA, where she trained at Dance Studio 84 for 13 years under the guidance of Deanna Mondello and Kersten Todey. She has since relocated to Irvine to pursue her BFA in Dance Performance with a minor in Film and Media Studies at UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts, where she was named a two-time Donald McKayle Endowed Scholar and a Claire Trevor Society Scholar. At UCI, she has had the opportunity to work with faculty members like Lar Lubovitch, Kate Skarpetowska, Charlotte Griffin, and Cyrian Reed. Outside of UCI, she has been able to train under AU.Thenticity Dance Company, directed by Azuki Umeda and Soulescape, directed by Justin Giles. In addition to her university studies, Frankie travels as a professional assistant for Adrenaline and Revive Dance Conventions, working alongside top choreographers like Matt Luck, Karissa Royster, and Matt Aylward. Recent accomplishments include: 2021 Music Center Spotlight Honorable Mention Winner (Dance), 2022 Youngarts Winner (Dance - Tap), 2024 Laguna Dance Festival Young Artist Scholar. As an artist, Frankie believes in the power of creating connections and dialogues through movement and finds joy sharing her unique artistic voice with others.
