Danielle Richter
COMPETITION DIRECTOR
Dani hails from Columbia, Missouri. Her formal dance training includes: Dancearts of Columbia, The Missouri Contemporary Ballet (MCB), Stevens College, Edge Performing Arts Centre and Lindenwood University. Dani has been immersed in the competitive dance world since 2006. She is a former National Dance Association (NDA) instructor where she toured the US to teach. Dani is a former Lindenwood Lionette with three Colligate National Championship Titles. One in hip hop and two in jazz/contemporary (2016-2019). Dani has worked with and learned from many notable choreographers: Darren Wong, Toya Ambrose, Meghan Sanett, and Markus Shields, to name a few. She just recently worked with “The Lab” at Francis Howell High School where they won 1st at the NDTC nationals in the medium hip hop varsity decision. Dani holds a degree in Exercise Science and a Minor in Health and Wellness. She was the former Owner, Head Coach and Head of Programs of the Francis Howell Junior Vikings Dance Team 2020-2022 and has taught at many prestigious studios and gyms in the St. Louis area. Dani is a current certified NDA judge and travels to freelance choreographs and judges at dance team and studio competitions in her free time. Dani is passionate about dance education, ballet, and body mechanics and utilizes her education to build solid technical foundations and safe environments for all ages.
